D for Diagnosis

The results are in and it's official: I have Blogger-itus

The cause:

Being unable to visit as many blogs as desired in a given day

The symptoms:

anxiousness
jittery fingers
twitchy eyes
lack of attentiveness at work and with family
partial selective hearing loss

Prescription:

30 days of no distractions
Take two cups of coffee in AM
Take two glasses of wine in PM
8 hours sleep nightly
And lots of lurve from bloggy friends

If you or someone you know can identify two or more of these symptoms, it's possible you have Blogger-itus. Get help. Follow the prescription to the best of your ability. And don't worry, you're not alone.

I totally have that! But, I can never be sad about having a condition if the cure is coffee!

I shall follow the prescription, my dear. I'm infected, too.

LOL!!! Good thing I wasn't drinking my coffee while reading this-- the computer would have suffered greatly!

I think all of us following the A to Z trail must have come down with this condition. Could we call it a "virus"?

It's like skipping rope ... A is for apple or my name is Annie and I live in Alaska and I ...

and I forgot the rest ... maybe I need an instant cure so I'll go make my coffee and see you later :)

So glad there's finally a name for it. Now maybe the healing process can begin. I'll have to find a substitute for the coffee but other than that, I think it'll be okay.

A really fun post.

So funny... just be sure not to overdose on the coffee or the 8 hours of sleep might suffer. Or the wine as the 8 hours might come sooner than you think. ;)

We need more hours in the day. But then we'd just follow even more blogs and need even more hours and then...

I think it's a vicious circle.

I started letting myself off the hook. I feel guilty, but I have to limit the blogs I visit if I ever want to say, "I FINISHED A MANUSCRIPT!" Sometimes, we just have to prioritize. This includes twitter and facebook time as well.

I definitely think it’s going around this month.

Wow, it appears to be a pandemic! I shall surely swap my tea for the more medicinal coffee and wine. ;p

Oh geez, I knew I had it the moment I saw coffee mentioned. I'm gonna have to start mainlining the stuff soon - espresso isn't enough anymore LOL!

I'm definitely a fellow sufferer. By the looks of this comment reel, we might have an epidemic on our hands!

This made me smile. I absolutely identify with it. Shame I can't take the required 30 days off work!
