Get In the Loop ...

If you're a kid lit writer like me and didn't have time or funds to go to the SCBWI conference in LA this weekend, all is not lost. Just check out the official blog for hourly posts on guest speakers and events. I've been perusing it all day.

If you don't write kid lit, it's still worth a look. With guest speakers like Judy Blume, Henry Winkler, and Libba Bray, you can't go wrong with reading what they have to say.

Here's the link:

Enjoy! Please join me on Monday when I have a special guest. Thanks! And Happy weekend!

I feel kinda silly, but what does SCBWI stand for? with those names, it has a lot of credential.

Valuable link! I've gone to a few LA conferences, and they were always fun and inspiring. Including the spa massages!

This sounds like the direction of conferences of the future. Save money stay home and attend the conference by virtual means. Sure, you miss that personal contact and the excitement of actually being there but this would allow you to attend more of them more economically.

Heeeey! I didn't know they did that! Thanks for the linky. Yeah, I'm in that group that can't afford to go. Maybe someday...sounds like a busy time there. I like going to my local SCBWI events (cheaper, too).
