Blogger For Hire!

That's right! I'm giving up the day job and becoming a professional blogger. I mean, why keep fooling myself, right? The day job pays some bills, but I just don't enjoy it like I should. That's why I'm throwing in the towel and focusing on something I love to do, blog.

And that's where you come in. I can help YOU. We all know how cumbersome blogging can be if we've got family, job, writing goals....

Do you have blog fatigue, but still want to keep up with your platform?? No problemo! I can help.
PK is here. Let me do the blogging for you!

You go about your daily routine, having more time for life's other demands, while I post nifty articles on your blog, respond to comments, and keep your following interested ... all under the disguise of YOUR name. No one will ever know!

Of course, my fee will be affordable, but let's not forget the thought and effort that goes into good blogging. And, of course, I have to make a living ... so I won't be giving away the store for free ... but I'll have a coupon day for those who're having trouble making ends meet.

Why pass up this golden opportunity? It's a win/win situation--you can relax knowing your blog is under control, while you pay me to do all the work so I can make a living doing something I really enjoy. YAY for professional blogging!

LOL

Total tongue in cheek, I hope you realize. Man, I wish I could blog for a living.... would be so fantastic.

Just a little Monday fun for my friends out there in the blogosphere. :)

How many of you would jump on something like this?? Not having someone blog for you, but you blogging for a living? Ever daydreamed about something like that?

I'm with Alex, I would have seriously thought about it! I would have had you mimick my posts and see where were at! :D

I just dropped down to three days so I had time to actually comment on people's walls! It's already gotten rid of some anxiety! However, if it works for you then I'd want to stop working and blog full-time!!

Today is the YA Tournament of Heroines bout - Hermione vs. Claire! Please vote for Hermione!

As I am retired I have all the time in the world to blog, providing I have no visiting to do.

LOL, you cheek! :o) No I wouldn't jump for this kind of thing. How can someone learn to write with my voice? It just wouldn't be the same ...

I was waiting for you to yell APRIL FOOL'S!! An idea not totally without merit, though. :)

I'm with Alex, you almost had me! But, truth be told, there are times when your idea has merit!

I love to blog too, and I get a little cranky when my day job interferes. If only the blog paid the mortgage!

You had me going there for a bit, Pk. LOL. It's actually a great idea.

I was about ready to give you my credit card info. Damnit.

By the way, I do know someone that has become a professional blogger. He blogged all day at work. And eventually got a bunch of national attention. Now, it's all he does. And he gets paid.

Amazing.

Blogging for a living would be different, but not terrible. I've never really thought about it!

Ha ha ha... that'd be a tough one for me. I feel like I'd run out of topics too quickly. But you'd be a natural!

That had me giggling - I'd love to blog full time!

People do make a living with their blogs, ghost writing, writing reviews, etc. Keep your eyes and ears open. You might find your niche!

Just when I thought it was safe to go into the water, blogger signs me off as "Gabby," a handle I used a million years ago. I can't win, so Florence is posting as anon until further notice. I want to shoot someone at blogger!

PK, that would be a good April Fool post! I'd jump at the chance. I see the blog as a kind of personal magazine and actually one of my goals is to establish a group blog at some point. I loved journalism back when and I still love the concept of doing it this way ... total artistic and editorial control. Wow, that's nirvana for a control-type-A personality like me :)

I will hold good thoughts that you get to retire your day job because you are making enough from your writing ... how's that for a great daydream?

I'd love someone to pay me to write my own blog :-)

Oooo, if I could blog for a living, I'd be so good at it.

Alas, my job barely pays any bills. I can't afford you!

I hope you get paid for writing full-time in one form or another. A writer's dream.

Haha! I love this! There are days when this would come in handy, but I'd rather pay someone to clean my house! ;)

You had me fooled at the start of your post, i was at here jealously thinking, I was I could do that too! Very funny.

You had me going for a minute, and I was also totally jealous. Fun post! :)

I do blog for a living, not for personal blogs but for businesses. I juggle business branding via blogs for 16 clients at my current job (which ends at the end of this month :() Trust me, it's not as fun as it sounds when you have to write about what other people want you to write about instead of what you really want to write about - that's why I started my own blog, so I could write whatever I want and (no offense, I heart you!) I would never want anyone to do that for me, nor do I think they could, it's hard channeling the voice of someone else to their liking.

Oh, crap. I thought for sure I had just found the silver bullet of keeping up with my social networking. Mmm I guess I'll have to keep blogging myself. I do admire those that seem to have extra hours in a day or something. I always feel a little bit behind. :-)

Actually, there are a lot of requests for bloggers on freelancing websites. If you wanted to, you probably could blog for others on the side.

Jacqueline Howett said...

Yeah you had me going too!

You know, if you could mimic someone's character in the process of appearing like them in their personal blogs, and I think it could actually be done, to a degree, I would think that would be exhausting- after a time. I don't see it as an easy swing in the hammock- dealing with all those different characters.

... but I am still curious about those who do blog on a professional leval.

Hmm... What an insight!

I use to do art translating for an online gig I had going long ago. Some of the artist were amazed how spot on I was interpreting their art works. I tell you, its a gift that never lasted very long. It takes a lot out of you.

I think you really could turning blogging for yourself and others into a career. Maybe you really should consider it. =)

I just laughed way to hard at this post. Part of me wishes this sort of thing could really work. Part of me is horrified that it *might*.
