Hi, friends! I've been locked away in my dungeon, knee-deep in beta reads and revisions, and I've been neglecting the ol' blog here.
Just wanted to share a few blogfests happening around the blogosphere that I'll be participating in next week, and there's still time to sign up for them.
First: Nickie Elson is having a Tumble 4 Ya blogfest where you post your 80's crush.
DL Hammons is hosting an Origins blogfest where you post on when and how you discovered you wanted to be a writer.
Cassie Mae and Hope Roberson are hosting a Valentine's blogfest where you post something romantic. ;)
And I wanted to share this link on overdone things in YA/MG fiction. I found it on Jess's blog Falling Leaflets. She has a wealth of resources for writers, so be sure to check her out!
I'll be watching Cupid's Connection very closely the next couple of weeks. Lots of great queries and opening lines being judged by a panel of agents. Check out this awesome new platform for writers to present their work. It's similar to Miss Snark's First Victim, but it's brand new and there's a great vibe going on there.
And just for fun, here's a pic I took a few months ago at our garage sale:
My angels. lol!
I'm scuttling back to my revision dungeon now.... see ya soon!
Do you have any blogfests or cool links to share? I'll mention them in my next post!

Good luck with the revisions. Your children are adorable.
I should be in the revisions dungeon too. Good luck with yours...
I can't even remember my 80's crush. Kirk Cameron, I think.
Ahhh bless them your little ones are so cute :). Good luck with the revisions honey :)
Did the kids make any money that day?
Great photo - any sales?
Always good to read what you are up to. Best of fun to you in your writing project.
Cheers and boogie boogie.
Thanks for all the links! I'm participating in the Tumble 4 Ya blogfest and Cupid's February contest - there's some great stuff going on! And good luck getting all your work done so you can get out of the dungeon!
Ooooooh your dungeon sounds thrilling!! LOL! Yay for you!! Good luck with your revisions!!
Awwww love your little angels - what a bargain!!! Yay!! Take care

Hey, I was just popping over to tell you how happy I was to see your name on the Tumble 4 Ya list, and here you did a plug. Thanks!
Good luck w/ those revisions - and if they drive you crazy, well, I know where you can get a psychiatric evaluation real cheap. ;)
Good luck with the revisions.
Yvonne.
Do your kids do long distance evaluations? I think I could do with some help. Especially at that price.
Thanks for the shout out about ORIGINS! I've already signed up for the Tumble 4 Ya blogfest (although it will have to share time with a WRiTE CLUB semi-final round), and Jess's blog is a wealth of information!! Good luck with the writing! :)
A psychiatric evaluation for five cents? Sounds legit. Ha ha.
It sounds like you're going to be quite the Blogfest Queen next week. Good luck.
Sounds like you're reading some great material. Isn't it fun to beta read?
Thanks for the links! And that picture cracked me up. I'd have stopped by just to ask them what made them think to do that.
I'm in the dungeon too. And definitely watching Cupids Connection. :)
I usually enter most Blogfests. I'll have to pass on the Valentines kissy one though. I will be doing the Tumble 4 Ya Blogfest. Love the nastolgia ones.
Keep up the good work on the beta reads and revisions!! I love blogfests but I'm avoiding them for now (fingers in ears, Lalalalaaa...) so I can get some revising done!!
Oh. My. Gosh! That is an awesome picture!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
Ahhh, I hate the dungeon, but it's sooooooo needed:( Love the pic of your kuddos, too cute!
Some awesome blogfests & resources here. Thanks for sharing! And that pic of your kids is awesome - love it! :-)
PK, I think the price is right and I so need to be evaluated. This business can drive anyone mad :)
Great blog links as always. Good luck with your edits :)
I'm participating in a few of these blogfests and I'll check out the other links.
That's a great deal on psychiatric evaluations. :)
Happy revising.
LOL! How many psychiatric evaluations did they sell and what happened I'd LOVE to know. Adorable!
good luck with revisions. As for blogfests, I'm particpating in a 3 part one now. Final part up Friday.
I could use an evaluation! Very funny!
Don't forget to take snacks into the revision dungeon. Thanks for all the fun signposts to blog fun.
