I love this idea, because let's face it, what writer hasn't envisioned their story or stories made into films?? It's the ultimate homage to a great story. With my current WIP, The 49th Parallel, a YA thriller, I have an idea of who I can see playing a few characters ...
My logline: Seventeen year old Madeline Martin is in a race for her life as she tries to uncover the mystery of secret political documents found in an old atlas in the library. She must discover the truth before a French-Iranian hit-man can get to them, or the fate of America will hang in the balance.
Okay, my thoughts for who could pull off Madeline:
Lily Collins. Now mind you, she'd need a pixie cut and blue streaked highlights, but Lily could totally pull this off.
Her main squeeze, Travis Fielding, would be a younger version of this guy:
Josh Holloway. His image for Sawyer from Lost, is right on target for Travis' teenage rogue character. Any youngin's resemble this one? Let me know in the comments.
And as for my antagonist, Armand Dantuine, the French-Iranian hit-man, he is anything but a pansy, but he's happens to be very attractive, with striking green eyes. I give you ...
Farzan Arthari. Never heard of him before, but stumbled across him on the net and he could pull off Armand nicely.
The story is a bit of a roller coaster, laced with historical facts, and I haven't even come close to figuring out all the songs for the many action scenes. But one scene in particular involves Madeline riding into the night with Travis on the back of his motorcycle after a murder has occurred. The need is urgent and the stakes are high. The song I imagine playing in the film is this:
Artist: Tori Amos Song: Iiee
Thanks for stopping by! Are you participating in the blogfest? If not, who would you pick for your WIP?

I absolutely adore the sound of this book/movie! If you happen to find anyone who resembles Josh Holloway, send him to my house lol! :D
Your choice of music is excellent, it really sounds like it belongs on your soundtrack. Great job!
Love your cast and Tori Amos complements them greatly. Excellent choices :)
Sounds like much fun, enjoy your self.
Yvonne.
Nice picks :D
Ooooh!! Mr Athari has such kissable lips! Yay! Take care

Some young actors there!
I love how you envision your story! It's great to see it in photos and hear it in music.
Oh wow this is fun! Exciting story!
I love any soundtrack that includes Tori Amos. Nice selections all around.
Sawyer... oh yeah! Tori Amos rocks!
Sounds like a good movie. :) (And I love Sawyer, good choice.) :)
Thanks for playing along with us!
Aaah, Sawyer! And LOVE Tori Amos, she's one of my faves!!!
Arthari could totally be a French-Armenian hit man!!! Great choice :)
Josh Holloway, nice.
And I love the Tori Amos song!
Josh Holloway AND Tori Amos. When can I see this?
French-Iranian hit-man? Hmm? Hope Madeline makes it. Best of luck with your work.
'Seventeen year old Madeline Martin is in a race for her life as she tries to uncover the mystery of secret political documents found in an old atlas in the library.'
I love the old atlas angle. I've always found it delicious when a narrator stumbles onto some artifact that disturbs a whole world which seems to have been just sitting there waiting for them.
Nice and grabby, Pk!
Love your choices and I love historical facts incorporated into a story! Your premise sounds all kinds of awesome.
I really like Josh Holloway. I can't think of a young actor that reminds me of him. Now I'll be brainstorming on that for days!
I've been thinking about it and I can't come up with a young Josh Holloway. Looks like we'll be searching for an unknown star! :)
Josh Holloway, yes! Put him in your film and I'll totally watch it multiple times. Fun post!
Drools...Josh Holloway. Yes, yes, yes! I'd so watch. :D
Such great stuff you picked!
I honestly haven't imagined my stories as movies.
Excellent bad guy material you have!
I love this blogfest! It is so fun to see everyone's picks, and it was SO HARD to pick my own. LOL. I love your post, and your WIP sounds like something I'd LOVE to read. :)
Madeline sounds awesome! lol. Travis is a very handsome man! They sound like a great couple!
The more I hear about your book, the more intrigued I am :-)
What an interesting blogfest:) I've always pictured Zac Effron for my hero and either Emma Watson from HP or Lea Michele from Glee for my heroine.
It's always fun to cast our characters, isn't it?
You made some excellent choices. They'd blend well together in a movie.
OOOH! I love it! Intriguing cast! And I would love to see her with a pixie cut and blue streaks! AWESOME!!
I'm ready to hit my Fandango app and order tickets to your movie right now. What a fun idea for a blogfest.
WOW! I LOVE that premise! Maps in an atlas? That is supercool! And whoa. That Farzan Arthari guy is scary!
This sounds like a winner! Best to you, my friend~ <3
Great choices!
Whom would I pick for my WIP? I have absolutely no idea.
I love thinking about which actors/actresses would portray my characters! For my current wip, I see Reese Witherspoon as my female mc and Ed Speelers (from Eragon) as my male mc.
That sounds like quite an epic quest, what with the fate of America hanging in the balance and everything! I like Lily Collins :)
I'm not participating in this blogfest, but it's a fun idea. Nice cast!
It's always fun to think of who would play your characters on the big screen. What's interesting is seeing how it's done in Hollywood with Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Hunger Games.
I love Tori Amos, and your cast choices and logline are great.
Would you believe this is something I've never given serious thought? I have no idea who would play my characters! But in terms of music, Australian artist Missy Higgins would definitely be on the soundtrack. In fact, now that I think about it, a younger Missy could definitely pull off my female MC Ceara! :-)
