And You Are...

Today Tammy Theriault and Emily King are hosting And You Are ... Blog Hop in which we answer some very unique, David Spade-ish questions. (love him) Thanks for stopping by here to share mine. I'll cut right to the chase (cuz that's just how I roll ...)

1. How many speeding tickets have you had?

Wow, I have no idea. Probably 2 or 3 in my life.

2. Can you pitch a tent?

Well not as well as my hubby. (And I'll just leave it at that.)

3. What was your worse vacation ever?

Only the one I never took. Seriously, I've never had a bad vacation. You know what they say, even a bad day of vacation is better than a good day at work. ;)

4. What was the last thing you bought over $100?

Oh, man, I recently treated myself to the new Sony X headphones and so glad I did. They are amazing. I use them to shut out the world while I"m writing, or to jam to some tunes when I'm not. The sound is so clear and bass so perfect. Total splurge, but I'm loving it. So worth it.

5. We're handing you the keys to what?

My new avocado ranch on Maui

6. What was the last meal cooked that made even you sick?

I've never gotten sick from a homecooked meal before. Glad to say!

7. Fill in the blank: "Oh my gosh! Becky, look at her butt. It's so big. She looks like _____"

She'd be a lovely person on the inside. Wah wah wah. But I'd never make a comment like that so I can't fill in the blank. Homey don't play that.

8. What was your first car?

A green Volkswagen Rabbit. My parents didn't have money to buy me a brand new car, but they sprung for an old one and it was perfect. Love them for that.

9. When your best friend falls and gets hurt, do you laugh or ask if she's okay first?

Unless she's really hurt, it's a combination laugh/inquiry. Hey falls can be funny. I laugh at my own falls. Uh, that is, if I'm not hurt. ;)

10. What is the worse song ever?

Ugh I can't stand Aerosmith's Don't Wanna Miss a Thing. I do like classic Aerosmith, but that song is like torture. A perfect example of why rock bands should never go pop. Bad song, bad movie. 'Nuff said.

And that's a wrap! How about you? Are you participating too? Leave a comment so I can be sure to visit yours as well. If you're not, pick a question and answer it for me in the comments. I love to hear from you! Have an excellent week!

And you know their career is on the wane when rock bands go pop!
Green VW? Scary...

Yep, I just posted mine! And I've seen that Aerosmith song mentioned twice now, and I've gotta say I think it's way less bad than a lot of other songs I've heard ;)

Awwww I wouldn't say something like no.7 too!!

You are the first person I know who'd love an avocado ranch!! LOL! Good for you! Take care

Interesting answers - I'm enjoying this blog-hop! Now I have that yukky Aerosmith song playing in my head - thanks... ;-)

Suzi said...

This was a fun blog hop. Easy to answer (little thinking).

This is the second time I've seen that Aerosmith song up for the last question. I actually don't mind the song. Not a favorite, but it's not bad.

Elise Fallson said...

AHHHH, I now have that Aerosmith song stuck in my head! And I'd be up for any kind of ranch on Maui. *sigh* Thanks for stopping by my blog, it's great to meet you too! (:

M.J. Fifield said...

Love your answer to #2.

And any kind of ranch in Maui sounds nice.

J. A. Bennett said...

Hum, I may have to look into those headphones. And an avocado farm? Yes please :)

your pitching a tent comment is awesome! I was thinking that could be seen as dirty but I didn't go there haha!

Stopping by to say hi. Love your answers. Just posted mine.

I love your answer #7! My worst vacation ever was to Destin, Florida when it rained and we were stuck in the hotel the entire time with my three (very young) kids needing to be entertained.

Emily R. King said...

HATE that song. And you may not criticize those with ample behinds (thank you!), but you have a dirty mind (pitch a tent...hubby...:)).

Azara said...

Haha! I was wondering if I was the only one with a dirty mind and decided to post a response that worked either way. Glad I'm not alone.

Yup, we both started out with VWs. Yours was cooler though.

Carla White said...

I agree with you that there is no bad vacation - even ones I've taken that had me sleeping in a tent (which I can pitch, by the way) in the pouring rain. :)

You know, I've never thought about where avocados are grown but now the idea of an avocado ranch is very appealing.

Karen Walker said...

No, not participating. Home sick with bronchitis, but it's fun reading all your answers.

A good pair of headphones can be amazing! The avocado ranch sounds amazing too! It's a good thing I'm not the one designated to hand you the keys, because I might be tempted to keep them for myself!

ilima said...

Avocado ranch...yes! And I love your answer to number 7. Haha.

Rebecca Lamoreaux said...

Very amusing! I liked number 9, I think falls can be hysterical! When my sister fall face first off the trampoline while trying to show me a new trick I was trying so hard to suppress the laughter to see if she was OK. But once she said she was, I laughed until I cried!

My friend writes with noise cancelling earphones, I might have to put those on my Christmas list.

I'm just glad you've never been on vacation with me or Elise Fallson :)

Sorry, I couldn't make it past number two. LOL!

What a FUN fest! I can't pitch a tent at all, so my question would be nope on that one. And whee! Hundred percent agreement on the vacay question. I'm coming to visit you in Maui--and we will NOT spin that Aerosmith track. I agree--YUCK! :D

good stuff~ <3

Azia said...

haha that Aerosmith song brings back memories! wow! I'm interested in these headphones you speak of...

Cherie Reich said...

Those headphones sound really cool, and I bet your first car was cute and had lots of character. :)

Tamara said...

I need to get some of those headphones, And that really was an awful movie!!

Shannon Lawrence said...

I wanted a VW Thing, and I wanted to paint it turquoise with purple polka dots, because that is the only car you can really get away with wacky colors on.

An avocado ranch, eh? Good luck with that!

An avocado ranch on Maui...interesting! And that song is definitely whiney!

Donna Yates said...

Such fun answers. You start an avacodo ranch on Maui and I'll be a regular visitor - I love avocados and I love Hawaii.

Great answer for #2, hehe!

Melodie Wright said...

Ooh, I want a ranch in Maui!!
(At first I thought you were saying the ranch was in avocado...like paint. Which made me realize it's Monday and I'm a little slow on the uptake.)

Green VW... ha! Sounds cool... retro...
Avocado ranch? Mmmm... when avo's are in season here, they are ALL over the place... really delicious, especially avo salad!

I remember watching Armageddon at the drive-in. Some guys were smoking pot a few cars down and we smelled it the entire time. Not the best memory ever. :P And I fondly remember making fun of that song every time it came on! :D

Stephen Tremp said...

Wow! A green Volkswagon rabbit. I'm not going to lie. That's hard to imagine. Mine was a baby blue Dodge Demon that seemed to fall apart as soon as I bought it.

Karen lee Hallam said...

Love the Maui avocado ranch. sounds heavenly. I feel bad now, calling my big butt a backwards kangaroo. THis tour is getting funnier with each stop. :)

Carrie-Anne said...

I used to post on an anti-Britney Spears board back on aohell, with a guy who loved Aerosmith but pointed to that song as the moment they jumped the shark.

Angela Ackerman said...

Oh my Gosh, this is the funniest blog hop ever! Am I the only one who read those questions and heard Spade's voice in my head? Lol, brilliant answers, too.

Courtney Worth Young said...

lolololol! I don't want to miss a thing, how hilarious. I hated how they changed Leaving on a Jet Plane in the movie. bleh! That is neat your parents bought you a classic car. I would have loved to drive a VW as my first car. In Texas, the speed limit in some places was recently raised to 80 MPH! I will never get a ticket again, knock on wood!

Lynda R Young said...

I might come visit you on that avocado ranch on Maui ;)

7. Fill in the blank: "Oh my gosh! Becky, look at her butt. It's so big. She looks like... oh wait... that's me in a mirror."

Fun post :)
